Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon, first produced in 1954, draws from the winery's terra rossa vineyards in Coonawarra. It is made with only the top 25% of fruit yields.

After fermentation in a mix of static and roto-fermenters, most of the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, up to 30% new. A small portion is aged in vats. Maturation lasts for 15-18 months prior to bottling and release.

Deep purple, Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon displays excellent varietal and regional character, with persistent dark fruit flavours, fine tannins and integrated oak.

It has a reputation for ageing gracefully. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
